120 Harrowdene Road is a registered supported living scheme for 5 adult females with learning disabilities, mental illness and or challenging needs.

 Location

Harrowdene Road is located in North Wembley, which is in the London Borough of Brent. It is less than 5 minutes walk from North Wembley train station, which is along Harrow Road. Harrow Road is also well serviced by buses. Harrowdene Road is a semi-detached home catering for 5 adults aged over 18 years.  It has generous communal areas and has an activities room for service users. It has a large and well tended garden at the rear. 

Aims

The main aim of 120 Harrowdene Road is to enable people with learning disabilities to live an ‘ordinary life’ in their local community despite their mental illness and or challenging needs. We aim to achieve this by encouraging and working with our service users to be fully integrated into the local community through participating in activities according to their choice, needs, abilities and interests. We are committed to maintaining and improving the quality of our service. We have comprehensive policies and procedures, which are constantly under review. An important part of our quality assurance procedure is our complaints and suggestions system, through which we obtain the views of our stakeholders, particularly those of residents, relatives or their representatives. We also achieve this through holding regular reviews with residents and on more general matters through regular meetings with residents, the relatives and advocates. Everything that we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of the people we support.
